Most commercial glass is cleaned from the ground by water-fed pole cleaning with purified water, up to 70ft high, with no ladders and no chemicals. Above that, our specialist access partner provides cherry pickers or rope access. Shop fronts and internal glass get a traditional hand finish.

Water-fed pole cleaning
A water-fed pole lets our operator clean glass up to 70ft high while standing safely on the ground. Pure water is pumped up the pole to a soft brush, which scrubs the glass and frames, then rinses them clean. There are no ladders, no scaffolding, and no one looking in through your windows.

Working at height
Every job is planned under the Work at Height Regulations 2005. We only use ladders when there’s no safer way, and never above 20 feet. Are ladders banned?

Why are my windows wet after a clean?
Because pure water is left to dry on the glass. It has nothing in it to leave a mark, so the windows dry clear without streaks. Wiping them would only spoil the finish.
Why do my windows look even better after the second clean?
Glass that’s been cleaned with detergent for years often carries a film of old residue. Pure water removes it gradually, so it can take one or two visits before the glass reaches its best.
Do you use chemicals or detergents?
No. Water-fed pole cleaning uses purified water only, so nothing harmful runs off into drains, planting or paving.
Do we need scaffolding for a tall building?
Not up to 70ft. Our poles reach that high from the ground, which covers most three- and four-storey buildings without scaffolding. Above that, we use cherry pickers or rope access.
Do you clean the frames as well as the glass?
The brush on a water-fed pole scrubs the frames around the glass as it cleans, and the rinse carries the dirt away. Let us know at your site survey if you’d like anything else included.
Do you use ladders?
Only when there’s no safer way, and never above 20 feet. Water-fed poles let us clean almost every window from the ground.
