What shops need from a window cleaner

Shop glass gets dirty fast. Traffic film, fingerprints and weather all show on a busy frontage, so most shops need cleaning more often than an office. We give shop fronts and doors a traditional hand finish, and clean upper floors and fascia signs from the ground with water-fed poles.

We plan every visit around your trading hours so we’re never in your customers’ way, and where your site allows it, we can clean before you open. For retailers and pub groups with several sites, we keep the same standard at every branch.

For shops, we provide

  • A hand finish on shop fronts and doors
  • Upper floors and fascia signs cleaned from the ground
  • Visits planned around your trading hours
  • The same standard at every branch
  • DBS-checked, uniformed, fully insured teams

How we clean shops

The right method for every frontage

Shop fronts

Traditional cleaning

Glass and doors at street level get an applicator and squeegee for a quick, dry, polished finish.

Water-fed poles

Upper windows and fascia signs are cleaned from the ground with purified water, with no ladders on a busy pavement.

Shopping centres

High-level glass

Atriums and tall entrances are cleaned by pole up to 70ft, and by our specialist access partner above that.

Questions

Shop window cleaning FAQs

All FAQs →

How often should a shop front be cleaned?

It depends on footfall and location. As a guide, a busy high-street shop front might need a weekly clean, but every site is different, and we’ll recommend a schedule when we quote.

Can you clean before we open?

Often, yes. We plan visits around your trading hours, and where your site allows it, we can clean before you open.

Do you clean the inside of the shop window?

Yes. We clean internal glass by hand, and can add it to your regular clean.

Can you look after all our branches?

Yes. We clean across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley, with regular work in Wakefield, Dinnington and Worksop, and one point of contact for every branch.
